DESCRIPTION:00Days00Hours00Minutes00Seconds\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSandwell Aquatics is proud to be competing in the SwimGainz Junior Development League Gala Series\, taking part in all scheduled rounds of the competition. This league provides an exciting\, team-based racing environment that supports swimmer development while building confidence and club spirit.  \n\n\n\nGala Details\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are taking part in Gala 1 at Perdiswell Leisure Centre\, Bilford Rd\, Worcester\, WR3 8DX – Saturday 10th January 2026. Swimmers will be selected from eligible squads for each round\, giving many athletes the opportunity to represent the club. If you have received an invite\, accept or decline in Swim Manager – We would love to have a full team representing Sandwell for the first gala of 2026. If you are unable to attend due to prior arrangements\, please decline the invite asap so another child has the opportunity to swim. \n\n\n\nWarm up starts at 1.30pm sharp\, so please can I ask for everyone to be on poolside for no later than 1.15pm.   \n\n\n\nThe teams competing in this gala along with Sandwell  are Worcester\, Evesham and  Cheltenham SWPC.  \n\n\n\nDue to the limited space available poolside can I ask for small bags poolside only please.  Swimmers need a towel\, spare hat and goggles\, a Sandwell (or a plain Black / Red) T-shirt to keep them warm and plenty to drink.  \n\n\n\nGala Spectator Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe warmly encourage parents\, family members\, and supporters to come along and cheer on the team. Your support plays a huge role in creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for our swimmers. DESCRIPTION:00Days00Hours00Minutes00Seconds\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSandwell Aquatics is proud to be competing in the Worcester County Swimming Championships long distance events on 18th January 2026 at Perdiswell Leisure Centre in Worcester\, where our qualifying swimmers will tackle the endurance-focused races such as the 800 m and 1500 m freestyle against other clubs across the county.  \n\n\n\nThis event is a key part of the Championships programme and offers our athletes the chance to demonstrate stamina\, pacing and competitive grit in a challenging race environment. We wish all our long distance competitors the best of luck and we encourage family\, friends and club supporters to come along\, cheer them on\, and help create a great atmosphere as they swim for personal bests and county honours. \n\n\n\nSpectator Tickets\n\n\n\n£5.00 per session\, £8.00 for a full day \n\n\n\nWe warmly encourage parents\, family members\, and supporters to come along and cheer on the team. The day features a wide range of individual events across all strokes\, showcasing speed\, technical skill and race execution. With swimmers competing across multiple age groups\, this session offers an exciting opportunity for Sandwell athletes to test themselves at county level\, chase personal bests and gain valuable championship racing experience. Supporters are encouraged to attend and help create a positive\, high-energy atmosphere poolside. \n\n\n\nSunday 25 January 2026\n\n\n\nCompetition continues on Sunday 25 January 2026\, with Sandwell Aquatics swimmers returning to the pool for another full day of long-course racing at the Worcester County Championships. This session places an emphasis on race strategy\, endurance and consistency as the weekend builds towards its conclusion. Our swimmers will be aiming to finish the championships strongly\, representing the club with pride and determination.
