HOW CAN I RAISE A CONCERN?
If you believe a child has been harmed or may be at immediate risk of harm, and you are unable to contact your Welfare Officer or the Swim England safeguarding team please make immediate contact with an appropriate agent, such as:-
- Police
- Children Services
- NSPCC Child Protection Helpline
Please take the name and contact details of the person you have spoken to, plus the incident/referral number, so you have a record of the advice they have given. Please report this to the our Club Welfare Officer and the Swim England safeguarding team the next working day.
IN AN EMERGENCY
We are looking to expand our Welfare Team within our Club. Our Welfare Team plays a vital role in supporting swimmers, coaches and volunteers. By joining the Team, you will help us create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can thrive. Whether you have previous experience in welfare roles or simply a passion for supporting others, we would love to hear from you. Training & guidance will be provided and you’ll become an important part of our friendly, supportive network. Please reach out to us via email if you are interested in joining our Team
