Annual Membership

Becoming a member of Sandwell Aquatics Club means joining a welcoming community dedicated to helping swimmers and water polo players develop confidence, skills and a lifelong enjoyment of aquatic sport.

Membership Fees

At Sandwell Aquatics Club, membership fees are made up of two parts:

1. Annual Membership Fee

Each athlete is required to have an annual membership, which consists of:

Swim England Registration Fee

All swimmers and water polo players must be registered with Swim England. This provides essential insurance cover, safeguarding support, and eligibility to participate in aquatic activities and competitions where applicable.

Swim England registration fees are set annually by Swim England and vary depending on the type of membership required.

Currently Swim England membership starts from £11.75

Sandwell Aquatics Club Membership Fee

In addition to Swim England registration, Sandwell Aquatics Club charges an:

Annual Club Membership Fee: £10 per athlete

This contribution supports the running and development of the club, including administration, communications, volunteer support and club resources.

2. Monthly Training Fees

In addition to the annual membership fee, athletes pay a monthly training fee.

The monthly fee depends on the number of training sessions your swimmer or water polo player attends each week. This allows families to choose the appropriate level of commitment while ensuring fees fairly reflect the amount of pool time and coaching provided.

Monthly training fees contribute towards:

• Qualified coaching.
• Pool hire.
• Training equipment.
• Delivery of swimming and water polo programmes.
