Get ready for an absolute blockbuster weekend of racing! The Sandwell Aquatics Trident Open Meet is officially locked in for Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th, 2026, and we are taking over the world-class Sandwell Aquatics Centre. There is nothing quite like diving into a pool with Commonwealth Games pedigree, and the energy in the building is going to be unmatched.
Whether you’re a seasoned competitor chasing down those elusive regional and national qualifying times, or you’re just looking to smash a fresh personal best and see what you can do under the big lights, this meet is built for you. We’ve got a fully licensed, slickly run programme complete with top-tier electronic timing, meaning the stage is perfectly set for some seriously fast swimming.
It’s going to be a fantastic weekend of great sportsmanship, high energy, and lightning-fast water. Pack your tech suits, prep your favorite race-day snacks, and let’s make some serious waves!

The opening date for entries is at 9am, on 31st August 2026 – Entries submitted before that date and time will not be processed.
Withdrawal Form
Any pre-meet withdrawals MUST be submitted using the form below by 6 pm on Wednesday, 8th July 2026.
Event Day Logistics
Filiming
No filming is permitted from the spectator gallery. If you do want to film from poolside for a you MUST complete the photo/filming consent form below and give to the lead referee. You MUST present your photos/videos to the Referee before the end of the relevant session.
Spectator Tickets
We warmly encourage parents, family members, and supporters to come along and cheer on the team. Your support plays a huge role in creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for our swimmers.
Spectator Tickets can be purchased on the day. £6.00 per session, £10.00 for a full day.
IMPORTANT: There is no onsite parking. Closest Parking is at the Harry Mitchell Leisure Centre, 10 minutes walk away.
