Key Features & Highlights
Opportunities for surprises
In early rounds, swimmers who are in good shape can upset the expected order. The draw layout gives chances for deeper squads to challenge for places.
Full slate of individual & relay events
The draw confirms a broad programme — from the sprint distances through to middle distance, across all age categories. Relays will play a pivotal role, often swinging the result in a tight gala.
Tactical depth matters
Given the structure, clubs that have strong swimmers across multiple disciplines (not just one or two stars) will be better positioned to rack up more points.
Early momentum
Being Round 1, teams will be keen to set a high benchmark, both to gain confidence and to put pressure on rivals in later rounds.
