Our Water Polo Squads
Youth Squads
This youth team focuses on building fundamental swimming confidence and water safety skills alongside basic ball-handling techniques like catching, throwing, and simple passing patterns.
Young players develop essential teamwork and communication skills through structured drills and games, learning to follow instructions, support teammates, and understand basic positional play. This teaches important life lessons including discipline, commitment, and resilience as players learn to handle both winning and losing while building physical fitness and coordination.
Youth water polo also emphasises fun and social development, helping players build friendships, gain confidence in challenging situations, and develop a lifelong love for aquatic sports.

Mens Squads
This squad creates an ideal environment for developing both technical water polo skills (advanced treading water, accurate passing under pressure, shooting techniques, and tactical awareness) and crucial life skills including leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.
The diverse experience levels within the squad means newer players learn fundamental swimming and ball-handling skills from veterans, while experienced players develop coaching and organisational capabilities by guiding newcomers.
The competitive selection process for limited match spots teaches resilience, time management, and goal-setting as players must consistently perform well in training to earn playing opportunities.
This squad produces well-rounded individuals who gain not only sport-specific expertise but also transferable skills in teamwork, leadership, and personal development that benefit them beyond the pool.
Womens Squads
This squad develops sophisticated technical skills including precise ball control, strategic passing sequences, and coordinated team movements that emphasise speed and tactical intelligence over pure physical power.
Players learn advanced communication and leadership skills.
Women’s water polo teams create empowering environments where players develop both athletic excellence and personal growth, learning to balance competitive drive with inclusive team culture while building lifelong friendships and professional networks.
